Field Notes

Description:

Vireo that was split from the Solitary Vireo. Name comes the word meaning consisting or resembles lead. Gray on head, back and tail. Pale on under parts. Two wing bars are seen. Thick eyering that goes all the way to the bill. Sound I heard was scolding and cause could be a possible nesting area.

Habitat:

Found these birds in mixed woodlands.
