large brown beetle caught in a puddle from rapidly rising flood water

anything that didn't make higher ground drowned in the Uluru flood of 2016

If I had seen it before leaving I would have whipped out my raynox and gotten closer. The light was poor and I think I was hurrying as it was starting to rain hard again
The green one looks Bee-like in shape. May be a very small Bee - or a kind of parasitc Wasp like: http://bugguide.net/node/view/13405
Not sure. I don't even think I saw it when I took the picture. So much water! And then I came home to one of our wettest years ever. I think Mother Nature is trying to drown us
I wonder what the green insect is!
