Description:

A vine with large purple and yellow flowers. A bud is visible in the first two pictures. It was growing low to the ground.

Habitat:

Found flowering along a dirt road into Mazunte Beach, Oaxaca.

Notes:

It is also called just Thunbergia, Purple Allamanda or Blue Trumpet Vine. It is native to India and Malaysia. It is considered an Escaped Exotic in other tropical countries.
