What a keen eye!!
Wow! es casi imposible de ver en la foto, q dificil debio ser haberlo visto en el arbol
Thanks Cindy, we are getting closer...with the ID. Unfortunately, I have no side profile pictures. I found this insect in the canopy (about 30 feet high) in a difficult position to photograph, I hope to see one more on another visit to that forest.
It looks very similar to the Flatfish hopper from Madagascar: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80125969@N00/2626503124
Amazing find! Do you have a side profile pic? It may help with the ID.
Nice photo and great eyesight. I haven't got a good match for you but here's a close link http://tolweb.org/Fulgoromorpha
Sharp eyed indeed. Nice spot Jonathan! Hope someone can ID it.
You must have very good eyesight Jonathan - I can barely see it & I know it's there!
If somebody knows more about this insect, I post another pic, The eyes looks a little like a Treehopper of some kind.
