Field Notes

Description:

White feathers (plumes), black bill with some yellow, black legs and yellow feet.

Habitat:

This bird was found in Brackenridge Park in San Antonio. It was wading in water that is part of the San Antonio River.

Notes:

This bird is protected in the US by the Migratory Bird Treat Act. It was awesome to see. A very beautiful bird indeed!
