Field Notes

Description:

This lizard was fighting with the gold dust day geckos that also resided in the garden. It was causing such a catastrophe amongst the harmony in the garden. It was the same size as the gold dust day gecko, plain green with a white sort of stripe down it's back. Definitely the "baddie" of the garden!

Habitat:

Lived in the garden of the B&B we stayed at in Hawaii. Very tropical and tranquil surroundings.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Carolina Anole. They are native to North America but they are introduced in to Hawaii by the pet trade, just like the Gold Dust Day geckos.
