Large Wood Nymph

Large wood nymph's size is about 2 - 2/7/8" (52-73 mm). Above is light cocoa-brown to deep chocolate brown. Forward wing above and below has one or two small to very large black eye spots, often yellow rimmed. Occupies much of North America. It is the largest wood nymph and the only one east of the Mississippi.
