Among the largest chameleons in the world, males have ridges running from above the eyes to the nose forming two warty horns.

Spotted this chameleon on a night hike in Ranomafana.

What a fun Chameleon! I walked by a small different species than yours near the Clinic and caught him up in a scraggly rose bush without leaves. It was hard to blend in to nothing. I kept my distance and he was okay staying around the plants. Too close and they tend to move on. I'm still trying to sort out the different species of the ones I've taken, but the Parsons is sure unique!
