Description:

Looks like a morel but I don't thunk it is. One mire sprouted since yesterday

Habitat:

My garden, no oak trees nearby

If you batter and fry a morel I'll bet your opinion for them changes! I don't like most culinary mushrooms either!
Sadly I do not care for mushrooms. It's still there though
Dip that big guy in some locally farmed eggs, and cover in seasoned flour. Fry. YUMMO.
This is most likely a Morel. I would eat it. Did you eat it?
