Description:

Thank you,don't know how the last photo got in there but I removed it...it is commonly called "white ginger". You are correct, in that it is not a type of ginger...I have all my plants arranged in categories and that one must have erroneously been placed with the torch ginger...yes, I wanted to show the various stages of the plant's development...

There are at least 2 different plants here. The last photo is Etlingera elatior. On reflection, No1 may also be but no. 2 is a different species in the Zingiberaceae.
that is amazing that it has such beautiful stages of development!
Misako: first and fourth is the same, but 2nd and 3rd may be young stage of flower. Cmiiw :)
Are these 4 different ginger species? They are beautiful and you should separate them.
5th pics is not ginger. Better you remove it, looks like you've been moved it into another spot :)
