Description:

Perennial, herbaceous plant, 15-30 cm high, flowers during April and May in purple or white.

Habitat:

Characteristic for beech (Fagus sylvatica) and mixed deciduous forests, likes loamy, nutrient rich and moist lime soils.

Notes:

Poisonous!!!
