Notes:

Spotted this on the curtains in my room in a small guesthouse in the village of Batad, only reachable on foot. It is surrounded by mountains and rice terraces.

I guess the location part of the spotting doesn't like Batad because it recognizes it but then when I save the spotting it changes it to Iloilo. I tried a few times and this kept happening, so I've changed the location to Banaue.
Thanks for the heads up. I did write Batad in Luzon as the location when I did the spotting. I don't know how it ended up as Iloilo.
Hey Dan, You may want to change the location of your marker. Batad is in Luzon Island.
I'm not sure, but it could be a type of sphinx moth. I only have a north america field guide but it looks most similar to the sphinx moths.
