Description:

A Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) pup peeking curiously out of it's den. I was going to set up a wireless flash on the den when this cute little guy came out to see what was going on.

Habitat:

Dry area within the wetlands.

Sadly they have been killed. The DNR does not allow the fox to live out there and they do not allow relocation of them as well. So if you ever see any take some photos because they will not be around very long :(
You are so lucky (or more likely, enterprising) to have found this den! Where exactly is it? I have live in Farmington and snoop around Farmington Bay and the wetlands often and have yet to spot a fox.....
Yes it was. Love interacting with nature like that. Feels fantastic!
