Description:

AKA Ground Ivy. Fast-spreading, dense ground cover vine, member of mint family. Lovely, but invasive to this area. Blue/purple flowers in spring. Often confused with Creeping Jenny.

Habitat:

Prefers rich soil, Native to Europe and southwestern Asia, introduced to north America.

Notes:

Photo taken before I pulled these suckers out. On our property, it takes over all areas where grass has been removed.
