Rosy Tabby

Endotricha flammealis is a moth of the family Pyralidae.

It has an unusual resting posture. The front part of the body is raised up on the forelegs, and the wings held at an angle, with the edges touching the resting surface.

The wingspan is 18–23 mm. The moth flies from July to August and is attracted to light.
The larvae feed initially on a range of plants and bushes (Common Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) and bilberries (Vaccinium)), and later amongst leaf-litter (plant remains and on dry leaves of willows (Salix) and oaks (Quercus)).
