Description:

Several stages of these Ganoderma were present. The youngest ones have a much thicker white margin, and the margin gets smaller and smaller as it ages and ultimately disappears and the whole fruiting body becomes a deep red color.

Habitat:

Base of several hardwoods in a flooded young forest. Newnans Lake Conservation Area
