Habitat:

Range Map-Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Habitat: Open, sunny, upland fields and wet meadows. Easily attracted to gardens with flowers such as Butterfly Bush, Purple Coneflower, Wild Bergamot, and milkweeds.

Flight Period: Early April to mid-October with peaks in May to early June, and July to mid-August. The summer brood is usually far larger than the spring brood. Extreme dates: North Jersey 4/1—10/19; South Jersey 3/31—10/15.

I love swallowtails. Great shot Lisa. Also, when you are doing your write-up, there is a block "Add a Reference" that has a good place to put websites. There is a place for Encyclopedia of Life, Wikipedia and the bottom on is for all others, like the one you have in Description. Putting the reference link there makes it easier to find and leaves more room for personal notes in the other blocks. Thanks again Lisa. Great series.
