Field Notes

Description:

A small (less than 2 inches) moth that is dark black with light yellow highlights on the back and head.

Habitat:

Found on the end of a cement block building under a light at 04:30 in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador (700 masl).

Notes:

Very pretty. I see very few of these.
