Pickerelweed has blue flowers with 2 yellow spots on the upper center petal, in a dense spike atop stalk bearing one leaf; leaves on long stalks, heart-shaped to lance-shaped.

Habitat:

Ponds, lakeshores, swamps, streams, marshes.
