Field Notes

Description:

This plant is green and has a various amount of brown flowers sprouting from the branches. It has tilted sideways for unknown reasons. Soil is filled with moisture. It is quite tall if it weren't tilted.🌸

Habitat:

The plant is inside a home in northeastern Illinois.

Notes:

The plant is given water every other day or according to moisture. It is tilted for unknown reasons. It is near a window for sunlight. Leaves give off a scent when rubbed.

It is tilted because it is growing toward the light. This is called Phototropism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phototropism If you rotate the pot of a indoor plant next to a window a quarter turn every few days it will grow straight. Indoor plants sometimes get (leggy) very tall because the light indoors, even by a window is significantly lower in intensity. :)
