Description:

Common tansy grows to about 3 feet tall and has button-like flowers. It is an invasive plant and is also toxic. The leaves of this plant are believed to repel ants.

Habitat:

It was found in a prairie restoration area. Common tansy grows well in either full sun or partial shade. It will grow in most soil types but does not like wet soil.
