I forgot to say you should include a latin name in your spotting so it won't be an 'unknown' spotting anymore. you could just add it as Sempervivum sp. because there are many varieties of Hens and Chicks
Not my specialty, but I will give them a peek!
cool. how's your knowledge of tropical fungi? when you have some time, browse through my spottings. I have plenty of unidentified fungi I would love to hear your thoughts on.
I knew it wasn't truly a flower, I just thought it looked like one! And yes, I am an amateur mycologist. I am obsessed with the kingdom Fungi! http://mushroomobserver.org/observer/show_user/1566
I'm guessing your a mycologist? Love all the fungi pics!
I second that. It's not a flower made of leaves, however, those are just the leaves.
I would guess a hen-and-chicks succulent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hen_and_chicks
