Field Notes

Description:

This skin is from a very hairy light brown tarantula. It appears to be a medium sized tarantula with a leg span of around 6 inches.

Habitat:

This skin was found on the floor in a building in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador (700 masl).

Notes:

Common to find shed skins. This one was in pretty good shape and I could get a shot with it open and "put back together."
