Description:

A silver colored ant mimic jumping spider with an elongated head and black markings. It behaves like a jumping spider as it can launch itself several inches away by jumping.

Habitat:

High elevation forest undergrowth.

@ ashutosh.dudhatra, thank you for the info, I'll edit the name. I it for a jumping spider because of its behavior that it can launch itself several inches on another location by jumping.

@ lhankin , my apololgy, it took me two weeks to respond to your notice. Just opened my PN account, been very busy with school works these past days and the very slow internet signal in our area is adding up to the pressures I even find it hard to upload more spottings. I hope its not too late but i appreciate so much that you consider my spotting to be featured in National Geographic’s Great Nature Project Pic of the Day. One more thing, this spider was spotted in Roxas City , Philippines and not in Masbate, Masbate. The coordinates and the pointer are on the right place but the name of the location is incorrect - Masbate is a separate Island. I don't know how it happens.

This isnt a jumping spider...jumping spiders have typical large anterior median eyes and different pattern of arrangement of other eyes.. :)
