Description:

orange snake with thick black band running down its body, about 30cm (1')

Habitat:

tropical heath forest, 1000m

Notes:

One of the only reptiles I spotted in Maliau basin and the only snake I spotted in the basin. This snake was spotted along the trail from Nepenthes camp to Maliau Falls.
