Field Notes

Description:

A medium size butterfly, less than 8 cm. Body and the border of wings dotted in white on and black base. Orange and ligh orange in the inner part of the wings.

Habitat:

Central to north part of Argentina and Uruguay and Brasil (At least the places I've seen it) Forest and other natural open areas.
