Field Notes

Description:

This small frog has a dorsal background color that varies from tan, to reddish, to brown with markings that can be shades of black, gray, brown, green, yellow, or red. Light and dark stripes underlie each eye. A triangular-shaped mark is located between the eyes. Light and dark stripes are found on the thighs. The skin on this frog is bumpy, not smooth.
