Description:
This amber colored ant has a dark head the Abdomen has dark stripes. It is over 1 cm in length.
Habitat:
At this moment they are really liking a tree. A live tree.
Notes:
There are two types of ants working together on this tree. The larger one pictured that seems to be guarding and one half the size that does the work. The lighter colored one is clear amber. May be it is the same species.
