Field Notes

Description:

This pink flower has 360 degrees of thin petals that have rounded tips. You can see that the center is a darker pink. The leaves are fern-like.

Habitat:

These plants grow in lawns in the full sun and with other plants in the shade.

Notes:

The name escapes me.

Its world wide spread plant, some credits goes to Portuguese sailors and adventurers like Darwin.
Well, we have it in Costa Rica, I was not sure if it is the same in Madagascar,.... I like that plant.
