Hermann's tortoise (Μεσογειακή χελώνα)

Testudo hermanni can be found throughout southern Europe. Two subspecies are known: the eastern Hermann's tortoise (T. h. hermanni ) and the western Hermann's tortoise (T. h. boettgeri ). The eastern population (T. h. boettgeri ) inhabits Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey and Greece.
