Field Notes

Description:

This orange insect has two long antennas and a long oviposter? It may be the same type of insect caught by the white " karate" spider in another posting. Wings too! The female lays it's eggs in a caterpillar.

Habitat:

Small plants in the undergrowth in open meadows. May be a pollinator?

Notes:

Looking is the art you learn before you find things.
