Description:

very small gecko, about 3 or 4" with the tail. it's resting on a small leaf.

Habitat:

rainforest

Notes:

This small gecko was on a bush in front of my room in Loango np. I spotted it at night and it hardly moved from the leaf that was holding it.

Thanks Reanna. I think we are getting somewhere with Agama. Maybe it's just a rare species.

Thanks Mitch. I appreciate any input you have, shot in the dark or not. I'm still not sure but I've never thought it would be an agama. Hard to find good images online but it does look like it could be a juvenile or female. Will need more research.

You're right lori.tas, they don't have claws. I will edit this to an unknown spotting.
Are there clawed geckos? This critter has clawed feet.
