Description:

Often green/bronze in color, like this one. Distinguishable from bullfrogs by prominent dorsolateral ridges. Spots on legs usually form stripe pattern.

Habitat:

Native to northeastern North America. Ponds, marshes, lake fringes and sometimes along stream sides (NYS DEC). This one was in a man-made pond.
