it's a lily (lilium pumilum) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilium_pumilum) i spotted the flower in Mongolia
This looks like a type of "Turk's Cap Lily" Lilium superbum - however, most I have seen have speckles on the petals...These don't....Where exactly did you spot these? They are beautiful, by-the-way!
