Description:

Magellanic penguin from the fabulous Penguin colony in Punta Tombo, Argentina

Habitat:

The nests of Magellanic penguins comprise either a simple scrape, often hidden under vegetation, or where soil conditions permit, a burrow, which may be up to 1 metre long ending in a round chamber.
