Description:

This charming little bird has a grayish blue back with black trim, white head and neck with a dark cap. Light undersides. Long, pointed bill. Buffy flanks.

Habitat:

Eastern deciduous forests across eastern and central North America.

Thanks. Much fun to watch in the winter. We get them at our feeders frequently and they spend a lot of time caching food in early winter. They must have a great memory to remember where they stash all those seeds.
