Field Notes

Description:

Tan cap with black sooty-looking streaks and cream/white near the margin. Stem and pores were white/cream, and the stem had some yellow marks, which may have been bruising.

Habitat:

Growing out from under the edge of a rock in a mixed forest with lots of oak.
