long and shaggy fur glossy pitch black. fur around sides of face and brow rusty orange. tail nonprehensile

rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this saki monkey in the Bosque da Ciencia, a 13 hectare plot of seconday forest in Manaus. Though there were some caged animals there, the saki monkeys roamed freely in the trees.
