Field Notes

Description:

Small brown bird, and a tilted tail and a big voice. When mature it has a white stripe through eye. They have a nest on top of the garage door-opener with a side opening to their nest. The side garage door is kept ajar. This little one got out of the nest on Mother's Day a little Early.

Habitat:

This baby wren rode the garage door up and then down when we left for Church. Then flew into the laundry room when we came home. Finally by keeping Clancy, our cat locked up in the house and the door open to the garage it found it's way into the big world.

Notes:

Once outside I was a bit worried because it made too much noise and I didn't want it to attract the neighbor's black snake.
