Habitat:

Inhabits the rainforest floor and are also found in epiphytic bromeliads at heights of 3 to 25 m. on the ground.

Notes:

Individuals of this species are highly prized for use in terrariums, so they are removed from their natural habitat to be sold illegally, mainly in Europe and USA.
