Description:

1 meter shrub, ridged leaves, purple shiny berries

Habitat:

Dry brush, elevated location

Notes:

These berries are edible and were also used as a dye and ulcer treatment by the Tasmanian Aborigines.

That bluish color is very unusual in the plant kingdom...cool!
