Perennial, bloom late spring to early summer. In addition to their beauty, peonies are very fragrant and long lived. Red, pink, white and even yellow blooms can be 10 inches across or more. Their shrublike foliage can grow up to 3 feet in height and width.

Habitat:

Full sun, moist, fertile and well-drained soil.

Notes:

I dug this plant up from my childhood home and replanted in this spot over 20 years ago.
