Field Notes

Notes:

I saw this guy on my walk home from work today. I have seen other waders and plenty of seabirds, but NEVER an oystercatcher at this part of the estuary. I was fairly excited, and I think I got a few weird looks as I ran to the edge of the walkway with a huge smile on my face and my camera out... but it was an oystercatcher! On my walk home!
