That size does fit with the blue-spotted salamander, but it does hybridize with the Jefferson Salamander in the United States and SE Canada, including your spotting location. Regardless, nice contribution to Noah!
Thanks for the help,it was approx. 3 to 4 inches
An estimate or measurement on size would help with species ID. Definitely looks like an individual from the genus Ambystoma.
