Description:
Small, oval shaped eggs, approximately 1 inch long. Greenish blue with reddish brown spots. Two eggs on day, then three eggs 24 hours later. A single adult bird returned to the nest approximately two hours after first spotting, but flew away at the sign of traffic in the yard. (Bad angles the result of amateur photographer working with amateur camera and not wanting to disturb the the nest.)
Habitat:
Hidden approximately four feet off the ground in a tropical shrub in the front yard of a small city near the Texas Gulf Coast approxmiately 60 miles Southeast of Houston. (Discovered while trimming the shrub.)
