I think these birds are awesome and not just because we share the same name.
I see what you mean. My guide has them separated but mentions that this is not always the case. Thanks for pointing that out.
My guide book also describes the Northern Oriole as including the Baltimore and Bullock's.
Both appear to be correct, the Northern Oriole includes Baltimore and Bullock's according to my USA book.
