Thanks Forest Dragon. I do not even remember knowing about this type of creature till I looked into this photo. I thought it was a praying mantis.
Beautiful Mantidfly! I wish I knew more of the species in Brazil. We have a couple species here in North America, too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantispidae
