Field Notes

Description:

Adult (1-3): a short stocky bird black crown and wings and two long white feathers out of the back of the head.
Juvenile (4): same body shape. Brown with white streaks.
Subadult (5): same body shape. Colored like a adult, but duller cap and wings.
All have orange eyes.

Habitat:

Coast line.

Notes:

The subadult had a fishhook in its beak.
