Notes:

Camera trap photograph, captured in a joint conservation project led by Dr J Marc Foggin (Director, Plateau Perspectives) together with local Tibetan herding community members and management authorities of the Sanjiangyuan National Nature Reserve.

Wonderful capture! I guess there might be some other interesting treasures in this wonderful corner of the globe.
What an amazing looking cat... and a good read too. Hope they're holding up their numbers.
I LOVE these guys! They used to have a pair at the San Diego Zoo. They have round pupils like humans rather than slits like house cats. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallas's_cat
