Field Notes

Description:

Black on legs and belly blending into reddish-black back and tail. Light tip on tail (possibly from injury?) and light spot on the top of his/her head which could have been missing fur or a lighter coloured patch.

Habitat:

Large urban park in Etobicoke (Toronto), Ontario.

Notes:

While I was taking this squirrel's picture he/she kept getting closer and closer, seemingly hoping for a handout.
